Jacqui leads Dunwood Manor with a deep commitment to quality care and a welcoming atmosphere. With years of experience in both luxury private and NHS care homes, she brings extensive knowledge and empathy to her role, ensuring that each resident, family member, and friend feels valued and supported.

Jacqui leads a vibrant team and together, they create a warm, engaging environment with activities that celebrate each resident’s individuality.

Jacqui invites visitors to tour Dunwood Manor, where she’s always happy to answer questions and share the person focused care and friendly community that make it a wonderful place to live and work.

Lauren came to work at Dunwood Manor in March as an activities co-ordinator, prior to this she was cabin crew for two years where she operated short haul flights all around Europe!

Lauren has shown herself to be caring and compassionate and she really knows how to make the residents enjoy their daily lives. Lauren enjoys organising activities and entertainers and trips out of the home for the residents. Lauren is flourishing in her role at Dunwood Manor and has a great career ahead of her.

Outside of her role at Dunwood Manor Lauren loves to spend time with her friends and family and loves going on holiday and exploring different countries and cultures. Lauren also enjoys being outdoors, socialising and shopping.

Working for 11 years as a Social Worker and Team Manager in Adult Services, Jacqueline relished supporting care providers with their safeguarding, quality and compliance requirements. Based on this experience, she then sought a move into working with a residential care provider. Jacqueline approached Allegra Care first, as she felt that the company’s values, care principles and household model aligned very closely with her own vision of what good care should look like. As Regional Manager, her passion for outstanding care is self-evident as she supports homes and colleagues across Hampshire. She also thinks laughter is a great tonic – and her cheeky sense of humour is infectious.

Away from work, Jacqueline enjoys eating out, cinema and horse racing. As a mother of two grown up children, she enjoys spending time with her friends, her family and her two grandchildren.

After working for 14 years as a renal nurse specialist, Jacqui changed her career to be around more for her young children. Her wide-ranging experience since then encompasses a number of rewarding positions across a variety of sectors, including team leader for Jobsite; Southern Team manager for Westfield Health; management for a specialist lender helping people rebuild their credit profile and, most recently, moving into the elderly care sector with Barchester, for whom she worked in community awareness and fundraising.

Now, as Regional Relationship Liaison Manager for Allegra Care, she brings her diverse portfolio of skills to the task of supporting the homes and helping the company develop its profile in the elderly care sector.
