For the few weeks that my husband was in the home before his death there, all members of the staff showed both him and me the utmost kindness, care, consideration and, yes, love. I could not have asked for more.

My father was offered a place at Dunwood Manor Nursing Home on 2/1/24, after spells in and out of the hospital over a 7-month span. It’s been the best thing that could have happened to dad. The staff are first class. They are very caring and help dad settle in from the word go. The nursing care at this moment in time is first class. There is a good atmosphere in the home, with friendly smiling friendly faces. The food is prepared in the kitchen and my father says the food is very good, and plenty of it. Overall I am very pleased with the way things are going 10 out of 10.

My husband was looked after by all carers and nursing staff with great care and kindness. I couldn't have wished for more.

My wife's stay at Dunwood Manor was only seven weeks but during that time her care was outstanding. She loved her room and said so almost every day. During her stay, we celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary and her 80th birthday. On the Tuesday of Easter week, we had a family gathering of eight and the home kindly provided us with a small room with tea, coffee and sandwiches. A wonderful experience, thank you all so much for looking after her so well.

From the first day of my mum arriving at Dunwood Manor Care Home, I was very impressed with the care offered to my mum. As a very regular visitor, I was well pleased to see the ongoing care offered so far which was first-class in every way. Mum died in Dunwood Manor surrounded by her sons and at the point of death, care given by one member of staff was gentle and caring.

My elderly brother, who has Alzheimer's and inclusion body myositis, was omitted to Dunwood Manor Care Home on 14th July 2021. I knew my brother's condition had deteriorated and he had been in hospital so I had searched for a nursing home near to Romsey for him and my friend recommended Dunwood Manor as her father had been cared for by them.
The whole experience, which could have been awful as my brother is a difficult man, was made much more pleasant by the excellent staff and the manager who was always able to help and assist if I was struggling.
I have been so impressed with everyone who works at the home as they have all been wonderful and I know in time my brother will settle and become content and safe in the knowledge he is being well looked after and cared for. I cannot express my gratitude and thanks enough and I would recommend them to anyone looking to place an elderly relative in care as my experience has been both kind and comforting.

Dunwood Manor is an amazing care home which has gone above and beyond for my dear ex-neighbours. My friend was discharged from hospital to Dunwood back in February for end of life care, his wife of 75 years had never been without him, they were soul mates, added to this his wife had not left her home for twenty years.
Realising they could not be apart it was arranged for his wife to join him, all this during Covid, but the wonderful team arranged for them to be in a bubble and his wife could be with him all day whilst building up a relationship with the staff and her new surroundings.
When my friend passed away the staff again were amazing, they were supportive, caring and compassionate and absolutely wonderful in helping his wife through her grief and helping her adjust to her new life. A couple of months on and his wife is now joining in with the many activities and trips, she has made a friend in a new resident, today when I visited she was at a cheese/wine/music afternoon and came into the visitor's room humming along. An outstanding care home.
