The Grove Residential Home Testimonials

The staff look after my mum extremely well. Although her mental state is poor, her general health has improved as she has been encouraged to interact with fellow residents. This has improved her life and led to her eating more and with others. In recent months she now spends most of her time downstairs compared with her early time when she was permanently in her room.

Mum has been a resident here for over 3 years and I can honestly say they have been very happy ones!
Nothing is too much trouble when looking after the residents at The Grove and I do feel Mum's welfare is always put first. We are always made to feel very welcome when visiting or taking Mum out, even at short notice.
Mum's room is spotless and kept very clean and tidy as is the rest of the communal areas.
There are always activities that residents can be involved in and music is regularly played which Mum loves and often sings along with.
The Grove was our first choice when looking for somewhere for Mum and we are so glad she has settled in so well and really feels at home there.
Thank you to everyone for their hard work and care, it really does show and makes a difference.

Mum has been a resident here for over two years and the care she receives continues to be excellent. In recent months Mum's mobility deteriorated a little so I requested a downstairs room when one became available. She is now happily settled in a room on the ground floor that is more suited to her needs. All the wonderful staff at The Grove treat Mum with kindness and consideration, they know and understand her and she enjoys being in their company. The daily program of activities is varied and well supported by residents, staff and visitors as was the recent D-Day street party event. The activities coordinator deserves a special mention for making sure there is something for everyone to enjoy at some time during the week. Thank you everyone for everything you do for all the residents.
