Jayne Lopez
Regional Manager Central & South
Jayne brings over 30 years of experience in health and social care and a depth of knowledge that spans almost every corner of the sector. Her career has taken her across adult and children’s services, giving her a wonderfully broad perspective and a strong belief that great care always starts with truly understanding people.
Jayne has worked across nursing and residential care, brain injury hospitals and rehabilitation, physical disability, dementia, learning disabilities, autism, children’s homes, and housing with care and support. This wide-ranging experience means she understands the challenges services face — and how to support teams to deliver safe, compassionate and high-quality care in even the most complex settings.
Throughout her career, Jayne has held senior leadership roles including Regional Manager, Quality Advisor, Quality Manager, and Head of Quality & Improvement. Alongside this, she has also worked in Human Resources, supported by a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management, giving her a strong people-focused approach to leadership and team development.
As Regional Manager for the South and Central region, Jayne is known for her calm, supportive style, her eye for quality, and her ability to balance high standards with kindness and realism. She is passionate about helping teams feel confident, supported and proud of the care they provide.
Outside of work, Jayne loves being out on the South Downs, walking dogs through The Cinnamon Trust, and giving back as a listening volunteer — a role she has held for an incredible 35 years. She also plays basketball with a local ladies’ team, is rarely without her Kindle, and is well known among friends for her love of arts and crafts… especially her impressive collection of gonks!

With over 35 years of experience in care home management, Jane brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to her role. Throughout her career, she has successfully led and supported care home teams, ensuring the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance while always placing residents’ wellbeing at the heart of her work.
Jane is passionate about creating nurturing, supportive environments where residents feel safe, respected, and empowered to live fulfilling lives. She is committed to continuous improvement and takes pride in fostering a culture of warmth, quality, and excellence in every aspect of care.
Outside of work, Jane is a keen gardener and enjoys coastal walks. Most of all, she treasures time spent with her three grandchildren, who keep her happily busy.

Karen began her career as a receptionist for an estate agency, where she developed a passion for administrative work. Eager to expand her skills, she transitioned to an admin assistant role at Bovington Army Camp, gaining valuable experience over three years. Her dedication to administrative excellence led her to Poole’s Children’s Social Services, where she served as a Child Protection Admin Officer for 11 years.
After taking time to raise her three children, Karen ran her own successful domestic cleaning business for three years, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit.
In 2021, Karen joined Fairmile Grange, initially as part of the home support team. Through her commitment, determination, and natural leadership, she progressed to the role of Admin Manager. Her invaluable contributions and strong work ethic make her a vital member of the Fairmile Grange team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the home.

Zoe has worked in elderly care since 2017 beginning as a health care assistant and progressing up to a deputy manager. Prior to becoming deputy manager at Fairmile Grange, Zoe was a project coordinator supporting a group of care homes and their managers and staff helping them to utilise their care planning systems and helping them to improve quality and care standards within their homes by delivering hands on training and developing resources for all roles using electronic care planning systems.
Zoe continued to develop her career becoming interim manager at Fairmile Grange prior to her current role as Deputy Manager As a deputy manager at Fairmile Grange, Zoe finds immense satisfaction in supporting the well-being and independence of residents while fostering a positive and nurturing environment for both staff and residents. Zoe genuinely enjoys knowing that her work directly impacts the lives of the residents, allowing them to live their best lives.
Zoe loves being a part of a team that creates a supportive and caring atmosphere where residents feel safe, valued, and respected, Zoe also finds it rewarding to mentor and support her team, helping them grow professionally and ensuring they have the resources and training they need to provide excellent care. The care sector is constantly evolving, and Zoe appreciates the opportunity to learn new skills and knowledge to improve her practice and the quality of care provided at Fairmile Grange.
Zoe has built strong relationships with residents, their families, and her colleagues. One of the most rewarding aspects of the role of a deputy is witnessing residents achieve their goals and celebrate their successes, whether it’s learning a new skill, participating in an activity, or simply enjoying a peaceful afternoon. Zoe proud to work alongside a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about care and making a difference in people’s lives.

Clinical Manager
Alana qualified as a Registered Nurse from Bournemouth University in 2010 and has spent 19 years working within the NHS in a variety of roles. Since 2019, her career has focused particularly on elderly care, where she progressed to Deputy Sister and then Ward Sister. She has a real passion for working with older people, particularly those living with dementia. Alana finds it incredibly rewarding to get to know each person as an individual, understand what is important to them and find those special moments that bring a smile to their face.
She also values the relationships she is able to build with residents’ loved ones and the opportunity to support families throughout their journey.
Outside of work, Alana is married with two young children and loves spending time together as a family. They particularly enjoy camping, being outdoors and making memories together.

So much goes into deciding whether a home like Fairmile Grange is the right fit for your circumstances. Fees are just one small part, but we believe in clarity to ensure you have all the information you need.

Support you may be entitled to
When you choose a care home in England, you may be eligible for NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC), which helps cover the cost of nursing. This is currently worth £267.68 per week and is usually paid directly to the care home.

Any new resident at an Allegra Care home can expect a warm welcome. We’re dedicated to ensuring that everyone feels at home. Rather than being focused on rules or schedules, we’re focused on people. That means whatever your loved one needs to settle in, we’ll do all we can to accommodate.
From day one, we’ll create a personalised care plan, you can visit as and when you wish, and you’re encouraged to bring personal items, pictures, and furniture to help make your loved one’s room truly their own.
Each resident’s personalised care plan is regularly reviewed by our expert care teams. Whether to respond to changing needs or simply make them feel happier and more comfortable, we’ll proactively adapt plans as necessary.
Families are absolutely welcome to visit at any time, and be a full and active part of an Allegra Care community. We’d simply suggest considering when staff’s busiest times are likely to be and, if possible, to give some advance warning of very early visits or planned outings.
