Helen Jones


Helen has held the senior roles with the care home and retirement sectors of General Manager for Tricare Nursing Homes (1,200 residents), Chief Operations Officer for Domain Principal Group (5,000 residents) and Executive for Strategy, Standards and Service Development with Australian Unity Independent and Assisted Living (3,000 residents, 55,000 home care clients).

Helen has undertaken global research to shape her award winning residential care service model. Helen was the first aged care recipient of the Endeavour Executive Australia Award, and is a Board member of the Common Age Association, a charitable organisation focused on improving aged care standards in all commonwealth countries.

In addition, Helen is COO of Amicala London.

Henry Lumby

Executive Director

Henry was formerly Head of Retirement Living at Savills. In that role he advised many of the leading UK care home, assisted living and retirement developers and operators, as well as advising investors and new entrants. Henry in addition advised think tanks, policy bodies and industry groups. Henry was an advisor to Allegra since 2016 and has played a key role in developing the strategy and team for both Amicala and Allegra Care.

Prior to this role, Henry was a partner in a retirement and care home developer/operator in Southern England. Since commencing his career in property in 2001, Henry has worked extensively across the older persons housing sector.

In addition, Henry is Managing Director of Amicala London.

Michael Davies


Michael has 30 years’ experience in finance sector. He was formerly Head of Group Mergers and Acquisitions at UBS, having started his career at Morgan Grenfell in London.

Michael has been involved in a wide range of corporate advisory assignments, including IPOs and restructurings. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG. Michael was a founding partner of DGS Capital Partners.

In addition, Michael is CFO of Amicala London.

Mandy Hayward

Operations Support Manager

Mandy has worked in health and social care for more than 30 years as a Registered Manager and Director of Care. Mandy’s hands on experience and passion led to the growth of her family business of care homes which was successfully sold in 2015.

Prior to joining Allegra, Mandy has been a trusted consultant on projects to improve services, safeguarding issues and compliance within provision, CQC and local authorities.
