Our care and nursing homes in Hampshire
Hampshire’s history dates back to Roman Britain, when county town Winchester was its principal settlement. Since then, the ports of Southampton and Portsmouth have become Hampshire’s largest cities, with growth fuelled by international trade, fishing and shipbuilding. Today, tourism brings millions of visitors to the county, drawn by the attractions of the picturesque coast and not one, but two national parks – the New Forest and the South Downs which, together, cover 45% of the county. With a high standard of living and robust property prices, Hampshire remains one of the UK’s most affluent counties.
Allegra Care currently operates five care homes in Hampshire - in Fordingbridge, the New Forest and in the environs of Romsey.
