Allegra Care Recognised in the 2025 Care Home Awards

Allegra Care Rewards

We are incredibly proud to share that Allegra Care’s management team has been recognised with a high commendation in the 2025 Care Home Awards – Excellence. Innovation. Achievement., in the prestigious Outstanding Smaller Group Care Provider (11 to 25 Homes) category.

This recognition reflects the passion, innovation, and dedication that define who we are at Allegra Care. As a young, vibrant company, we have always believed in doing things differently – putting people, relationships, and well-being at the very centre of everything we do.

Our unique household model creates small, close-knit communities where residents are known, valued, and given genuine choice every day. This approach doesn’t just benefit residents – it supports our incredible teams and delivers positive results for our investors too.

We are deeply proud of our people. Every team member at Allegra Care is chosen for their compassion, energy, and drive to make a real difference. We invest in their success, providing the tools, training, and support they need to thrive. With a flat structure and a culture of open communication, every voice matters – and every person counts.

As we grow, we continue to embrace technology to enhance the care experience, not replace it. At the heart of everything we do are meaningful relationships – with our residents, with each other, and with the families and communities we serve.

To be recognised at a national level is a huge honour and a moment to pause and celebrate all that our team has achieved so far. We’re just getting started, and we’re excited for what the future holds.

Catherine
Sales Manager

Catherine has worked in sales and marketing her whole career, after graduating with a degree in Textile Management she worked in Corporate Workwear for many years. Catherine’s first role in the care sector was working with a disability charity that ran nursing homes and enablement projects for young adults.

Catherine

While her two children were younger, she joined her husband in his estate agency, but was delighted to return to the care sector in 2020 and now cannot imagine doing anything else.

Catherine’s role with Allegra is to support residents and their families as they explore care options. Working with the teams in the individual homes she ensures that during every stage from initial enquiry through to moving in with us every question is answered, and we offer the reassurance needed for the next chapter in our resident’s life. It is important for our residents to remain part of the community in which will have lived for years, often all their lives, so the other part of this role is connecting with local community groups, charities and organisations.

Catherine has said that working for Allegra with their groundbreaking household model means we are offering a home with compassion and care whilst ensuring residents are retaining their independence and quality of life.

Out of work Catherine enjoys baking and gardening The children are older now, but still keep her busy!
