The spirit of St Patrick’s Day was alive and well at St Georges in North Somerset, where residents and staff joined together for a lively day of Irish-themed fun. From crafts to cake, and music to dancing, the celebrations brought warmth, colour, and plenty of smiles throughout the home.
Crafting Irish Gonks and Enjoying Live Music
Residents spent the morning getting creative, making a cheerful family of Irish Gonks. Their handmade decorations were proudly displayed around the home, adding a festive touch to the day. After lunch, the party continued with a live performance from Nick at Mini Concerts, whose music soon had everyone clapping along and enjoying the rhythm.
Dancing, Cake, and Irish Cheer
As the upbeat tunes filled the room, it wasn’t long before a few residents were happily jigging their way into the afternoon. The kitchen team joined in the spirit of the day too, baking a delicious Irish-themed cake that was served with a round of Irish coffees. The combination of music, treats, and laughter made it a truly memorable celebration for all.
