Cedar Lawn Summer Fayre is a hit!

Everyone enjoying the fete and meeting the mayor of Romsey

Cedar Lawn couldn’t have had better weather for their Summer Fayre on Friday. The they had a fantastic turnout, with Cedar Lawn staff and their Allegra Colleagues, residents, relatives past and present, friends and the local community turning up to support.

The Romsey Mayor, John Parker, came along to support the event and chatted with as many people as possible and the Romsey Ukuleles entertained everyone that came along.

Thank you to all our stall holders for attending and supporting the day, Mr Tom’s ice’s joining us was a welcome treat on such a beautiful hot day!

£500 was raised on the day which will be shared, donating some to support one of the team members who had an accident on a recent trip back home, this will help to support them with medical bills etc. whilst they recover. The rest of the funds will be put back into the residents’ funds at Cedar Lawn, allowing for additional activities, supplies, entertainment, and trips out ensuring they have a fun and fulfilled life in their home.

Bianca the Home Manager would like to say a huge thank you to Activities Coordinator Sandy for leading the organising, and Head Chef Michael for preparing the homemade treats, along with all other team members and relatives who got involved with setting and clearing up, running stalls or assisting residents to attend and to Romsey Ukulele for providing the entertainment. The Fayre would not have been possible without the team effort, it was greatly appreciated.
