We’ve been celebrating the wonderful staff who work at our nursing and care homes for International Nurses Day!
Our nurses and care staff are paramount to our homes as they support residents, organise activities across the month, and make sure everyone receives the specialist care they require.
As the team at our Somerset nursing home, St Georges, said:
“May 12th is the birthday of Florence Nightingale (born 1820) so is the date we recognise and celebrate the contribution nurses make to our global society.
We'd like to say a huge thank-you to all our nurses here at St Georges and to all the nurses, past, present and those aspiring to become one. We love you all!”
At Waverley Lodge, it was Pimms o’clock as residents celebrated the dedicated nurses and care team with a cake and biscuits.
Across all our homes, we’re thankful for the teams that provide our residents with high-quality care and friendship.
