Sing-alongs and outings at Cherry Blossom Care Home

care home staff celebrating activities coordinator's birthday

We love a sing-along at Cherry Blossom, and this month has been full of them!

There was singing accompanied by bottomless tea, a walk down memory lane with hits from past decades, and even an afternoon with our local Vicar and his wife!

Our residents picked the songs they wanted to hear, and with the keen vocal direction of the Vicar, everyone sang to their heart's content to the much-loved songs!

There was also another classic song being sung at Cherry Blossom in May: Happy Birthday!

We celebrated Laura, our Activities Coordinator, on her birthday, which was marked with singing and, of course, cake! Laura does a brilliant job of organising and managing events at the care home, making sure all our resident have plenty of experiences and adventures, both in and out of the home!

From all of us at Cherry Blossom, happy birthday Laura!

Speaking of cake, some of our residents had a lovely trip out of the Care Home when they visited The Paul Pry

The ladies of Cherry Blossom met their daughters for delicious cake and coffee. It’s lovely to see our residents on their trips outside of the home, especially when it includes their family members!

Fun was had by all, and we’re happy to report that all sweet-teeth were assuredly satisfied!
