Our residents get the chance to kick off the day with some morning stretches and exercise, which is accessible for all abilities! It’s a great way to start the morning, and gives our residents a big boost of energy for the day.
We also love to play music within the home to get everyone moving and singing along! Whether it’s classical music, or popular songs that our residents can bop along to, playing music always gets a great response.
This time, we played some Elvis, which created a beautiful moment for one of our residents and husband to reminisce to. Moments like this never fail to warm our hearts, as we see the importance that music and dancing can have to the wonderful individuals living in Cherry Blossom Care Home.
