It was all about the "Good Vibes" recently at St Georges Care Home, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.
The home was filled with rhythm and soul as we hosted our first-ever “Good Vibes Only Reggae Party.” The timing couldn't have been more perfect, as the event fell on what would have been the legendary Bob Marley’s birthday.
A Performance to Remember
To bring the authentic sounds of the Caribbean to Somerset, we were joined by the incredibly talented reggae singer Nick Byer. He was absolutely amazing, bringing endless energy and a fantastic atmosphere to the lounge. Performing a setlist of well-known Bob Marley classics and other reggae hits, Nick had everyone moving to the beat.
The residents loved every moment, singing along and "jamming" while enjoying some traditional island treats, including refreshing rum punch and delicious homemade Jamaican ginger cake. It was most definitely a "Good Vibe Friday" to remember!
