Dementia UK Challenge
During September The Grove's team and residents will be walking 30 miles to raise funds for Dementia UK. Each day the home's team with different residents set off on various routes around Winterbourne.
Every Day's Walk is Different!
Day one had the bonus of a pony and trap riding by with the riders giving everyone a warm smile. It is certainly taking The Grove's weekly Walking Cub up a gear! Day five was a little soggy so everyone welcomed a drink at the local Daisy Cafe before braving the rain for the walk back to the home! By day nine the Co-op had also become a popular pit-stop with chocolate and crisps top of the teats list!
