VE Day Celebrated in Style
St Georges residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with music, dancing, sunshine, prosecco and a traditional afternoon tea. The home looked fabulous with an array of bunting and decorations.
A Time for Reflection
It was important to celebrate the anniversary of 80 years since victory in Europe, but it was important to reflect on those who lost their lives in service and many residents have war time memories. During the morning residents spoke about their memories as well as a couple of residents speaking about their National Service.
