St George’s Residents Enjoy Church Coffee Afternoon

Church Coffee Afternoon

St Mark’s Coffee Afternoon

Residents of our St Georges Nursing Home in Somerset are regular attendees at the Tuesday afternoon coffee gatherings at St Mark’s Church. Each visit brings a warm welcome, offering residents the chance to enjoy a sociable afternoon filled with conversation, friendship, and of course, plenty of tea and cake. The friendly and inclusive atmosphere makes these gatherings a highlight of the week.

Strengthening Community Connections

St Georges Nursing Home is fortunate to have a strong relationship with St Mark’s Church, ensuring that residents remain connected to their local community. In addition to the much-loved coffee afternoons, Reverend Chris visits the home every Monday to conduct services, bringing comfort and spiritual support to those who wish to participate. Maintaining these connections is especially important for residents, many of whom have lived in the area for years and value the opportunity to stay engaged with their community.

At St Georges, we believe in providing a vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle for our residents. Our events programme includes a variety of activities designed to promote social engagement, well-being, and enjoyment. From church gatherings to in-home events, there is always something happening to enrich daily life.
