St Georges' Residents Have Fun at Local Pantomime!

St Georges' Residents at the Local Panto

What a fabulous afternoon it was for the residents and families of St Georges Nursing Home, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset!

The group headed out to the St Georges Community Centre to enjoy a spectacular performance of Mother Goose, brought to life by the talented St Georges Players. From start to finish, the energy was electric—oh yes it was!

A Warm Welcome from the Community

With the wonderful support of family members, the home was able to take ten residents along to watch the matinee performance. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this trip possible. A special mention must go to The Players, who went above and beyond by reserving prime seats and wheelchair spaces, ensuring everyone felt incredibly welcome and comfortable.

Traditional Panto Fun

The production of Mother Goose offered everything a classic British pantomime should: hilarious slapstick humour, a fantastic pantomime dame, boo-worthy villains, great music, and plenty of "it's behind you!" comedy. Our residents were in stitches throughout and particularly loved the opportunity to meet the cast after the curtain call to offer their congratulations in person.
