Supporting Help Bristol's Homeless Charity

The Olive Tree House and Rose Garden Christmas Hamper Raffle raised a fantastic £103 for local charity Help Bristol’s Homeless and Mandy, Catherine and resident Pam had the pleasure of dropping off the fundraising money along with donated items including blankets and toiletries. There was a warm welcome from Project Manager Kerrie and it was also wonderful to meet the charities founder and CEO Jasper and learn about the vision behind this amazing charity.

A Unique Vision

The brightly coloured shipping containers have become homes that offer safe and secure accommodation for those who are sleeping rough. This unique approach has proven successful in meeting the needs of Bristol's most vulnerable population. In addition to providing temporary accommodation, there are support services to help people get back on their feet with experienced professionals providing advice and guidance on a range of issues, including housing, health, employment, and addiction. It is a real community project with Joe Greenaway Art’s striking and outstanding street art on the containers and there is even a community cafe on the site of this unique project.
