Our Grove Residential Home in Winterbourne, Bristol was filled with love, laughter, and delicious treats as residents enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Afternoon Tea. The home looked truly special, beautifully decorated with hearts all around, and everyone appreciated the thoughtful details, from the pretty cake stands to the warm, inviting atmosphere.

Our fantastic hospitality team baked fresh scones, which were an instant hit, many residents couldn’t resist having more than one, topped with plenty of jam and cream. Of course, the age-old debate continued—jam or cream first?
Residents Join in the Preparations
While the afternoon tea itself was a delight, it was equally heartwarming to see residents getting involved in the preparations. From folding napkins to setting the tables, there was plenty of laughter and teamwork, even if a few too many napkins were folded along the way!
