Variety at Patchway Memory Cafe
The Patchway Memory Cafe runs on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month and residents from Rose Garden and Olive Tree House are regulars! This is a busy cafe with a variety of visitors from entertainers to exercise.
Songs from the Shows
This visit was all about the Roses when Rosemary and Rose walked over to the Memory Cafe with the team. This time everyone was entertained by the fantastic singer Shannon who also regularly performs at both homes. Beginning with songs from musicals there was an opportunity to name the show - some were easier than others - everyone knew which musical "A Spoon Full of Sugar" was from! The second half of Shannon's performance was a selection of songs for summer which got Rose up dancing.
Nipping to the Shops
On the walk back there was a visit to the post office for stamps and snacks. It was a lovely morning out in Patchway with plenty of chats including in the post office queue!
