Winnie The Pooh Day!
To mark the occasion the Blossom Fields' team bought in the characters from the classic Winnie the Pooh books. The characters visited residents who absolutely loved the opportunity for a cuddle and to chat about their memories of this much loved children's' classic.
A A Milnes' Legacy
Celebrated on 18th January, author A A Milnes' birthday who was born in 1882 and who first published stories about this enchanting bear in 1926. In 2006 to celebrate 80 years of Winne The Pooh he was given his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The series of books were written to teach children about love, forgiveness, patience, trust and acceptance. In the words of Winnie The Pooh "the things that make me different are the things that make me".
