Our residents at Cedar Lawn Care Home, Romsey, Hampshire enjoyed a delightful autumn tour in the New Forest, hoping to catch a glimpse of the local wildlife, including pigs, ponies, donkeys, and sheep. Before their wildlife adventure, they visited Landford Garden Centre to admire the beautiful autumn foliage.
A Serendipitous Encounter
After looking at the lovely leaves changing colour in the plant area they met a kitten who took quite a liking to Betty’s warm lap and decided he wasn’t going to leave and if he could he would have gone home with Betty!
A Festive Treat
After their adventure, our residents enjoyed a delicious tea and scones at Charlotte's Restaurant. The warm welcome from the staff made the experience even more enjoyable.
Christmas Shopping and Festive Cheer
The garden centre was already adorned with sparkling Christmas decorations, creating a festive atmosphere. Our residents enjoyed browsing the decorations and it was also a chance to buy a couple of little gifts for loved ones!
The early arrival of Christmas decorations served as a reminder that it's never too early to start thinking about the holiday season and planning for gifts.
