April brought lots of fun for our residents at Cedar Lawn Nursing Home. This month in particular has been very special as Cedar Lawn has officially been an Allegra Care home for one year! We couldn't resist the opportunity to put on a feast for our residents, so the care home staff crafted a delicious afternoon tea party for everyone to enjoy.
Cedar Lawn's chef had a busy day baking scones, cookies and many more treats for all to enjoy. It's safe to say the tea party was a hit. Here's to next years celebrations!
April also brought Easter festivities, which meant the home was full of arts and crafts activities. Celebrations like Easter are always welcome in the nursing home as our care team provide everything our residents need to create something special for their loved ones to keep.
But that's not all! It wasn't just Easter celebrations that made April so much fun; some of our residents enjoyed a much-loved treat in the shape of a hearty pub lunch - who can say no to a brimming plate of fish and chips?
Planning outings and keeping our residents active where possible, so they can enjoy outdoor activities, is a key part of the care provided at Cedar Lawn Nursing Home.
