Our Cherry Blossom Care Home in Peterborough is proud to announce a significant contribution to the Alzheimer's Society. The home recently raised £550 through their Memory Walk, a testament to the compassion and dedication of their residents, families, and staff.

A Valuable Partnership

Heather Hooper, a volunteer from the Alzheimer's Society, visited Cherry Blossom Care Home to collect the generous donation. She also delivered an insightful Dementia Friends session, educating attendees about the challenges faced by individuals with dementia and how to provide support.

Empowering the Community

The Dementia Friends initiative aims to change the way people think, act, and talk about dementia. By raising awareness and understanding, we can create a more compassionate and inclusive society for those living with dementia.

Making a Difference

The £550 raised by Cherry Blossom Care Home will directly support the Alzheimer's Society's vital work, including:

  • Funding groundbreaking research
  • Providing essential support services
  • Raising awareness and challenging stigma
