Emergency Services Day, celebrated on 9th September each year, is a special occasion to recognise the invaluable contributions of those working and volunteering in the NHS, police, fire, ambulance, and search and rescue services across the UK.
A Token of Appreciation
At our Rose Garden and Olive Tree House homes in Patchway, Bristol, we wanted to express our gratitude to the local emergency services for their tireless dedication. Residents from both homes spent time crafting heartfelt gifts as a token of appreciation. Rose Garden residents created beautiful collages, while Olive Tree House residents penned heartfelt poems about each of the emergency services.
Delivering Gratitude
Armed with cookies and personalised thank you cards, teams from both homes visited Patchway Police Station, South Western Ambulance Service in Filton, Patchway Fire Station, and the homes' doctors, Coniston Medical Practice.
A Message of Thanks
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the emergency workers who are there for us every day. Their unwavering commitment and selfless service make a significant difference in our lives.
