About Rose Garden

The care staff at Rose Garden are highly experienced and qualified. With many having worked at the home since it first opened, team spirit is a key factor in the vibrant, welcoming sense of community and a uniquely warm, homely atmosphere. Staff are supported by ongoing training and monitoring to ensure that they’re performing to their full potential, so families know their loved ones are in the safest of hands.

Rose Garden

A unique approach to care

Rather than segregating care types, residents live in mixed groups, which has been shown to improve mental stimulation, so residents keep their skills for longer. It is this unique approach that sets Rose Garden apart.

Very much a people person, she’s dedicated to helping others and passionate about elderly care and the difference it can make to people’s quality of life. Deputy Manager

Highly experienced in caring for the elderly, Vlad’s knowledgeable approach and expertise are invaluable, both to residents and his colleagues at Rose Garden. As a dedicated care professional, he is highly focussed on meeting residents’ needs and supporting them fully to ensure the best outcome possible and the best quality of life. Similarly focussed on spreading a little happiness and joy, he’s also fond of making everyone laugh with his jokes!

Nicky Josselyn

Regional Manager Central & Western

Nicky brings more than 25 years’ care sector experience to her role as Regional Manager, with a career that spans a wide variety of roles, from care assistant to regional manager.

As her father was in the RAF, Nicky grew up as a Forces child – educated in Germany and living in many locations through her younger life, including Hong Kong. Married for 17 years, with four wonderful sons (and recently becoming a Nanny to yet another little boy!) she is happily settled in a lovely Suffolk village. As her youngest son is an outstanding striker for his football team, she can often be seen on Saturdays and Sundays running the line at his matches. Her other main sporting interest is pool – she plays for Suffolk and also runs two teams in the Ipswich league. Nicky also enjoys spending her leisure time at the gym, relaxing with her family or walking her French Bulldogs, Ralph and Coco, who are frequent visitors the homes she managers, where the residents adore them and treat them very much as their own.

I am very pleased with the care and support that my mother receives and knowing that she is in a safe environment. Her walking and general health has improved since she came to stay. She enjoys participating in the activities that take place. The nursing staff are excellent and very approachable. Overall, we are very pleased with the nursing home
