From Tai Chi to Sing-Alongs: The Importance of Movement and Music at Cherry Blossom

Residents at Cherry Blossom enjoying the musical afternoon

After Tai Chi exercises in the morning, we had the musical afternoon at Cherry Blossom. James was merrily singing along with Anna, and one of our residents, Sandra, sung her favourite 'My Fair Lady' at the top of her lungs.

The importance of movement and music!

Here at Allegra Care Homes we value the importance of movement as much as we value the importance of singing, dancing and having fun as a community! At Cherry Blossom Care Home, everything is geared around optimising our residents’ quality of life, from the luxurious accommodation to the beautiful, landscaped grounds and fun events and activities we encourage all our residents to participate in.

Our events team ensure that there are plenty of stimulating choices for residents to enjoy – from visiting live music and theatre groups to activities such as photography, crafts and gardening. Out of the home, regular day trips and our chauffeur service help ensure that residents remain engaged and involved with daily life.

Whatever is it you love doing, get up and get active!

Have a nice weekend everyone!
