Despite the rainy weather, our residents from Cedar Lawn Nursing Home in Romsey, Hampshire recently had a wonderfully memorable boat trip on the Alison MacGregor.
A Picnic on the Go
While the rain may have cut our trip short due to technical problems, our residents still had a wonderful time on the Alison MacGregor. The boat provided a unique and enjoyable experience, allowing us to explore the beautiful waters of the Solent.
Our chef prepared delicious sandwiches for a picnic lunch, ensuring that our residents were well-fed and happy despite the weather. The sandwiches were a tasty treat and a welcome break from the boat trip.
A Visit to Fairweather Garden Centre
On our way back to Cedar Lawn, we made a detour to Fairweather Garden Centre in Beaulieu. The residents loved exploring the garden center, admiring the early autumn plants and bulbs. Many of our residents reminisced about visiting garden centers with their families when they were younger.
