We hope everyone had a very "hoppy" Easter this year - the residents and staff at Fairmile Grange Care Home, Christchurch, Dorset certainly did! The home was filled with a wonderful sense of community as we celebrated with special visits, sweet treats, and a good dose of Easter magic.
A Visit from the Easter Bunny
The Easter Bunny and friends made a grand entrance, hopping through the corridors of Fairmile Grange to deliver chocolate treats and bright, yellow daffodils to all of our residents. The team wasn't forgotten either; they were surprised with special goodies kindly provided by the Brownies, making for a truly inclusive celebration.
Laughter and Cheeky Antics
The day was filled with memorable moments that kept everyone laughing. One highlight was when our resident Edith cheekily tried to make off with the Easter Bunny’s entire delivery trolley! Not to be left out of the festivities, Buttercup the budgie joined in the fun, even sharing a sweet little "kiss" with the Easter Bunny, much to the delight of the onlookers.
A Special Note of Thanks
We also made sure to send a special Easter delivery to the lovely Sandra, our dedicated pianist who visits every Friday. Sandra is a firm favourite with our residents, providing the soundtrack to so many of our afternoons, and it was a moment of appreciation she truly deserved.
It was a joyful day defined by kindness, laughter, and the simple pleasure of celebrating together.
