This summer, residents and the team at Fordingbridge Care Home in Hampshire worked together to transform an unloved corner of the garden into a stunning beach-themed space. The new area is complete with painted seagulls, colourful beach huts, a boat, and even a flourishing vegetable patch full of tasty courgettes, tomatoes, and bright sunflowers.
A Day of Celebration
Yesterday marked the grand opening, and everyone came together to celebrate with a delicious BBQ cooked by Chef Dom. There were plenty of refreshments, music, and fun games for residents and visitors to enjoy. The weather brought beautiful sunshine between a few brief showers, but nothing could dampen the spirits.
Special Guests Make the Day
The highlight of the afternoon was a visit from two very special guests - Woody and Lily. The two dogs wagged their tails and made sure to greet everyone, bringing smiles all around and making the day even more memorable.
