Katrina

Deputy Manager

Katrina qualified as registered mental health nurse in 2000 after completing her three years training in Cornwall. She started her post qualification career at The Priory Hospital Marchwood, then working in the NHS from 2002 to 2015 when she joined Fordingbridge as Deputy Matron. She loves her current job within Fordingbridge and likes to make it a happy and fun place for all the residents who reside there. Joining her at work is her Cavapoo puppy Archie who comes everywhere with her and likes to visit the residents where he will also hoover up crumbs from the floor!

In her time off Katrina enjoys walking with Archie in the New Forest or the beach, or spending time with her husband and two children exploring the area. Katrina as Clinical Manager ensures the highest standards of care and support are provided to our residents at Fordingbridge.

Jacqueline Smith

Regional Manager South

Working for eleven years as a Social Worker and Team Manager in Adult Services, Jacqueline relished supporting care providers with their safeguarding, quality and compliance requirements. Based on this experience, she then sought a move into working with a residential care provider. Jacqueline approached Allegra Care first, as she felt that the company’s values, care principles and household model aligned very closely with her own vision of what good care should look like. As Regional Manager, her passion for outstanding care is self-evident as she supports homes and colleagues across Hampshire. She also thinks laughter is a great tonic – and her cheeky sense of humour is infectious.

Away from work, Jacqueline enjoys eating out, cinema and horse racing. As a mother of two grown up children, she enjoys spending time with her friends, her family and her two grandchildren.

The care my father has received at Fordingbridge Care Home has been fantastic. Always welcomed by friendly staff who have shown great knowledge and care towards him. They have always got him all the help he has needed and kept us regularly updated with how he is. I feel very confident in his care at this home, it has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the staff and residents always appear happy when I am visiting.
